- The required postage to send mail by Letter Post is based on the size and weight of your letter or document.
- Items larger than 260mm x 385mm, thicker than 20mm, or heavier than 500g are classified as parcels.
Sending mail by Letter Post
- To send a letter or document by Letter Post place it in a blank envelope correctly addressed and with the correct postage.
- Post your mail in a Tonga Post letter posting box or at a Post Office counter. Or get a Tonga Post Account and discuss having your mail picked up.

- Registered Post has a next working day target delivery between major island group towns. Your letters and documents are tracked and require signature on delivery.
- The required postage to send by Registered Post is based on the size and weight of your letter or document.
Sending your mail by Registered Post
- To send a letter or document by Registered Post place it in a blank envelope correctly addressed and with the correct postage or use a Registered Post Postage Included Envelope.
- Post your mail at the nearest Post Office counter. Registered Post cannot be lodged in a letter posting box. Or get a Tonga Post Account and discuss having your mail picked up.
